Sue Lucine draws pen and ink studies of local Liverpudlians’ portraits, adding watercolour paint and placing her pieces into frames for a professional finish. Her work is simplistic, yet as unique as the human face itself. Sue bases her artwork on studies taken from her favourite coffee shop in the city centre, describing her style as alive and immediate, capturing the essence of Liverpool’s vibrance and multiculturalism. She claims to have been an artist almost all of her life and feels that her work reflects a lifetime of confidence in her abilities as an artist.
