Jemma Taylor crafts handmade furniture and small-batch, vegan friendly and cruelty free natural soy wax candles, using pure essential oils in recyclable amber glass apothecary jars. After the birth of her first child, Jemma looked for a calmer, slower life for her family and left her profession as a freelance sound engineer to create from home. She crafted a small collection of basic pieces using some timbers, salvaged from a local demolition site, which slowly grew into a business. Now, working full time alongside her partner, she makes charmingly simple and rustic pieces from a magnificent workshop space on a daily basis.
