As a printmaker for the past 16 years, he specialises in linocut and screenprints of charming townscapes, landscapes, and animals — with a whole branch of work rather curiously dedicated to donkeys exploring surreal monolithic worlds, in case that floats your boat!

“All of my prints start by me carving a design out of a piece of lino. I use special tools for this, and once completed, I then ink up the image with a roller and print it using my cast-iron printing press. I love the boldness of printmaking, especially linocut. James will be selling affordable original prints at this year’s Winter Arts Market alongside poster prints and cards, so catch him while you can.
